ABOUT THE TROOP
RASING THE LEADERS OF THE FUTURE SINCE 1992
Since its founding in 1992, Boy Scout Troop 263 has been dedicated to developing young leaders and making a lasting impact in the community. Through outdoor adventures, service projects, and the values of the Scout Oath and Law, the troop has provided generations of Scouts with opportunities to grow in confidence, responsibility, and leadership.
WHAT'S OUR DEAL

TROOP
MEETINGS

Every other Monday, all the scouts in the troop put on their uniforms, grab their Scout books, and head to Hosanna Church, where we do a wide range of activities from planning, to games, to working on rank advancement.
MONTHLY
CAMPOUTS

Each month, we take either a weekend campout or a day expedition. We go to a variety of interesting locations such as Eagle Cave, the Ely Wolf Center, or more local campouts like the nearby Phillippo Scout Camp.
SUMMER CAMP

Once per summer, typically in the last week of July, we all travel to one of the major summer camps Tamahaulk, Tesomas, or Many Point for a full seven days of fun and collecting merit badges .
COMMUNITY SERVICE

Within Scouts, it is both a great honor and a requirement to complete service projects, some of which include clearing brush, repairing and building camp structures, and helping with charity.
